Travel is the best way to maintain a sane state of mind, and taking a rest once in a while to explore the world might be the best thing you can do for your wellness. However, most people’s holiday planning phases usually ignore the less popular destination that may be equally exciting to visit. Guam is one of those places, and a few years ago, I was captivated by this tiny island in Micronesia. This article explains a lot about this destination and lists 23 of the best things to do in Guam that will leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and relaxed.

Where is Guam – do I need ESTA or VISA to visit Guam?

where is Guam

Guam is a tiny island in Micronesia, located in the Western Pacific region. Guam is a domain (island territory) of the United States; thus, it doesn’t have any travel restrictions for US residents.

However, if you’re a resident outside of the United States, ensure you have ESTA, Visa, or whatever applies to visiting the United States.

I personally visited Guam while flying from Korea, and I almost missed the flight because my ESTA was expired. So, make sure you have all the necessary documents before you visit.

I was planning this trip for two weeks straight, filling my self-care planner with all the activities, places, and experiences I’d have there, and I almost ruined the trip.   The bottom line is to double-check the travel documents required before you go anywhere.

What is the best time of year to visit Guam?

best things to do in Guam

Prices are a significant factor when deciding when to take the trip, as many “off-season” months are usually cheaper for tourists.

However, such tips do not account for the fact that rain is a significant aspect of life on this tiny island. If you go in the off-season, chances are you will not be able to do many activities as the rain will spoil them.

The best months to go to Guam are from December to April. This is the dry season on the island, so there are fewer chances of rain interruptions during your trip.

Not only will you be able to see all of the attractions listed below, but you can get the best out of all these attractions. However, I went to Guam in November. Although we had a rainy night (which reminded me of most of my nights in Asia when I was trying to experience outdoor things to do in Singapore), it was sunny and fabulous most of the day.
